What it costs
Every dial is different, so every job is priced individually — and you get that price in writing before anything starts. Quotes are free and there’s no deposit to get one.
What the dial needs
A relume is not a full restoration. Stripping and resurfacing a corroded plate, recreating lost printing, and refitting indices are separate operations, and most dials need some but not all of them.
Finish and materials
Lacquer and sunburst finishes cost less than natural stone. Turquoise and malachite cost less than opal. Mother-of-pearl sits in between. The stone itself is a real line item on stone dials.
Indices and stones
Reusing your existing applied markers is cheapest. New applied markers, custom numerals, or diamond and gem setting each add materially — gem setting most of all, because every seat is cut individually.
Printing
A dial that still carries legible text is cheaper to restore than one where the logo has to be rebuilt as new artwork and a fresh plate etched. Photograph your dial before sending it.
How fast you need it
Standard scheduling is the default and costs nothing extra. Jumping the queue is possible on some jobs and is quoted separately.
